With this Privacy Policy, pursuant to articles 13 and 122 of Legislative Decree no. 196/2003 ("Privacy Code"), and in accordance with that provided for in the General Provision issued by the Italian Data Protection Authority of 8 May 2014, the Data Controller, Flora Carmelin di Emilia Flora Sala, hereby provides users of the site www.floracarmelin.com ("Site") with information concerning the cookies used and the processing of their personal data, in accordance with EU Regulation 2016/679 ("GDPR") and any other applicable law.

 Data Controller and Data Processor.

The Data Controller is FLORA CARMELIN di Emilia Flora Sala ("FLORA CARMELIN") with registered office in via Paolo Lomazzo 55, 20154 Milan, Italy, VAT no. 10235190963. Ms. Emilia Flora Sala, domiciled at the registered office of the company, is designated as a Data Processor.

Origin of the personal data and purpose of the processing.

With regard to that indicated for browsing data in the Cookie Policy below, the contact forms on the Site allow the user to contact the data controller and subscribe to the newsletter. Depending on the type of request sent by the user through the contact forms, FLORA CARMELIN will process the data subject's personal data for the following purposes:

  • Communicative, direct marketing and promotional activities, consisting of subscribing to a newsletter for the purposes of sending promotional material about FLORA CARMELIN products by email or responding to specific requests for information transmitted by the data subject.

For the aforementioned purpose, the legal basis of processing is to be found in art. 6, para. 1(b) GDPR, as it involves activities necessary to respond to a specific request of the data subject.

The data will by processed by specially appointed personnel using manual and electronic tools, in a lawful and proper manner, adopting specific logical and information technology measures in order to ensure the security and confidentiality of the data, and may be performed using paper or electronic media by specially appointed personnel. 

Nature of the data collection.

The provision of personal data in relation to the purposes indicated in this policy is optional: however, any refusal to provide the data will make it impossible for FLORA CARMELIN to carry out the requests made by the data subject when completing the contact forms on the Site.

Communication of the data.

In any case, the data subject's personal data will remain confidential and will never be published, disclosed or shared with third parties; they may, however, be communicated to the following parties:

  1. employees of the Company appointed as data processors, so as to enable the processing and storage of data in accordance with the Company's security standards.
  2. the provider of the Site's maintenance and management services, appointed by FLORA CARMELIN as a Data Processor.  

Data retention.

The personal data subject to processing will be kept by FLORA CARMELIN for the time strictly necessary to ensure fulfilment of the purposes indicated above and in any case for the period of time permitted by law and by the requirements of the Personal Data Protection Authority.

Rights of the data subject.

The data subject may at any time exercise his or her rights under Chapter 3 of the GDPR and further applicable legislation, and in particular:

  • the right to obtain confirmation of the existence or non-existence of personal data concerning him/her.

  • the right to obtain access to the personal data, as well as their updating, rectification, completion or erasure without undue delay, as well as the restriction of processing, transformation into anonymous form or blocking of any data processed in violation of the law, with confirmation that these operations have been brought to the attention of those to whom the data have been communicated, except where this proves impossible or involves the use of means manifestly disproportionate to the protected right.
  • the right to file a complaint with the Data Protection Authority.

FLORA CARMELIN fully respects the privacy of its customers and Site users. The data provided by users to FLORA CARMELIN will be processed with the utmost care and with all the tools necessary to guarantee their security, in full compliance with the Italian regulations in force regarding the protection of confidentiality.
